Die Pflanze kam im 18. Jahrhundert als Zierpflanze aus Nordamerika. Es gibt verschiedene Arten. Sie verwildern häufig und gelten inzwischen als eingebürgerte Neophyten. An Ufern und Waldsäumen fühlen sie sich wohl. Hier in den Weinbergen an der Mosel findet man sie oft.

The plant came in the 18th century as an ornamental plant from North America. There are different kinds. They run wild often and are valid, in the meantime, as established “Neophyten”. On shores and forest hemlines they feel fine. Here in the vineyards on the Moselle one finds them often.

La plante venait au 18ème siècle comme la plante de décoration de l’Amérique du Nord. Il y a les manières différentes. Ils «verwildern» fréquemment et sont valables, entre temps, comme Neophyten introduits. A des bords et lisières de forêt, ils se sentent bien. Ici dans les vignobles à la Moselle, on les trouve fréquents.
