Natürlich kann ein Blog nie den Besuch in einem Weinberg ersetzen: Düfte, Geräusche, Bilder berühren im Weinberg unmittelbarer als Bilder und Worte auf einem Bildschirm.

Dieser Blog soll Lust auf das Entdecken der Artenvielfalt an der Mosel machen, Appetizer sein – für Bilder, Geschichten, Fakten, Mythologisches, Alltägliches und Besonders; für das, was die Mosel einzigartig macht: eine artenreiche Weinkulturlandschaft im Herzen Europas, die drei Länder miteinander verbindet. Ohne den Weinbau wären die Hänge am Fluss nicht das, was sie seit Jahrtausenden sind: abwechslungsreiche Refugien für sonnenliebende Pflanzen und Tiere. Abwechslungsreiche Strukturen bedeuten unterschiedlichste Lebensräume: eine Steilvorlage für die Artenvielfalt.
Vielleicht erreicht der Blog Menschen zwischen 10 und 99 Jahren, zwischen der Mosel und dem anderen Ende der Welt – beidseits des Flusses, der in den südlichen Vogesen in Frankreich am 47. Breitengrad auf einer Höhe von 715 Metern entspringt und nach 544 Kilometern in Koblenz in den Rhein mündet: am 50. Breitengrad, auf einer Höhe von 59 Metern.
Die Idee zum Blog entstand während der Weiterbildung „Lebendige Moselweinberge – Artenvielfalt in Steillagen“ im Frühjahr 2015 am DLR Mosel. Ich habe sie mir gegönnt, um mein Ökologie-Wissen aufzupolieren (während des Landwirtschafts-Studiums an der FH Weihenstephan hatte ich Ökologie als Studien-Unterschwerpunkt) und um die ökologischen Facette der Mosel besser kennen zu lernen. Seit 1996 lebe ich als Frau eines Winzers an der Mosel (www.weingutkoewerich.de).
Es würde mich freuen, wenn Moselweinliebhaber und Moselfreunde bis ans andere Ende der Welt sehen, was hier am Fluss gerade geschieht: über der Erde und unter der Erde, im Wasser und an Land, tagsüber, abends und nachts, im Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Winter, zwischen Quelle und Mündung – darum versuche ich, auch eine englische und eine französische Version anzufügen – und freue mich auf Anregungen und Tipps, Kommentare, Meinungen …! Of course, a Blog can never substitute the visit in a vineyard: Smells, noises, pictures touch in the vineyard more immediately than pictures and words of a screen.
This Blog should make desire for discovering the biodiversity on the Moselle, be Appetizer, maybe also dessert for the waiting period on the next visit by the river, with pictures, stories, facts,mythological about animals, plants and people by the river, with history and stories and sometimes with a recipe, to take pleasure in the Moselle – with wine it is better and more delightful. Of course it is also about the wine. Without him, the wine-growing, the slopes by the river would be not that what they are since millenniums: diverse refuges for solar-loving plants and animals – diverse structures mean the most different livingspaces: a through ball for the biodiversity.
Maybe the Blog reaches people between10 and 99 years old, between the Moselle and the other end of the world – on both sides of the river – with curiosity on the life, the biodiversity by a river in the middle of Europe which arises in southern VosgesMountains in France in the 47th degree of latitude on a height of 715 metres and flows after 544 kilometres in Koblenz into the Rhine: in the 50th degree of latitude, on a height of 59 metres.
The idea for the Blog originated during the continuing education „living Moselle vineyards – biodiversity in steep slopes“ in Spring, 2015 by DLR Moselle. I have allowed myself to visit it for to polish up my ecology knowledge (during the study in Weihenstephan-University I had ecology as a studies-untermain–focus and I would like to know the ecological facet of the Moselle better.
The Blog will legitimise me to visit different places between spring and mouth of the Moselle, to interview quite different people to the biodiversity, in such a way as I have done it also for up to now published 5 books about the Moselle, as wife of the Riesling producer and wine-growing Engineer Nick Köwerich in Leiwen/ Moselle (www.weingutkoewerich.de).
I would be glad if Moselle wine lovers and Moselle friends see till the other end of the world what just happens here by the river: above ground and under ground, in the water and in country, during the day, in the evening and at night, in the spring, summer, autumn and winter, between spring and mouth – therefore I try to add also an English an  a French version –

Naturellement Blog ne peut jamais remplacer la visite dans un vignoble: Des odeurs agréable, bruits, images touchent dans le vignoble plus directement que des images et mots d’un écran.
Ce Blog doit faire l’envie sur le fait de découvrir la diversité de manières à la Moselle être Appetizer – pour des images, histoires, faits, mythologique, quotidien et Particulièrement, pour celui-ci qui rend la Moselle extraordinaire: un paysage de culture de vin au coeur de l’Europe qui lie l’un avec l’autre trois pays. Sans viticulture, les penchants sur la rivière seraient non ce qu’ils sont depuis des millénaires: refuges variés pour les plantes aimant le soleil et les animaux. Les structures petites structurées variées signifient les espaces vitaux les plus différents: « Steilvorlage » pour la diversité de manières.
Peut-être, atteint de Blog des gens entre 10 et 99 ans, entre la Moselle et l’autre fin du monde – sur les deux côtés de la rivière qui s’évade en Vosges du sud en France au 47ème degré de latitude sur une hauteur de 715 mètres et débouche après 544 kilomètres sur la Coblence dans le Rhin: au 50ème degré de latitude, sur une hauteur de 59 mètres.
L’idée à Blog naissait pendant la formation „Lebendige Moselweinberge – Artenvielfalt in Steillagen“ au printemps 2015 à la Moselle DLR. Je me les suis accordé, autour de ma connaissance d’écologie améliorer (pendant les études à FH Weihenstephan, j’avais mieux à faire la connaissance de l’écologie comme le point sous-principal d’études) et autour de la facette écologique de la Moselle. Ça me réjouirait, si des amants de vin de Moselle et amis de Moselle jusqu’à l’autre fin du monde voient qui se passe justement ici sur la rivière: au-dessus du sol et sous terre, dans l’eau et au pays, pendant la journée, le soir et la nuit, au printemps, été, automne et hiver, entre la source et embouchure – de cela, je tente d’ajouter aussi une anglaise et une version française – et me réjouit sur des suggestions et tuyaux, des commentaires, opinions … !
